Data Coordinator - full time
Curate is a high growth technology startup located in downtown Madison. We were founded in May of 2016 by a PhD candidate in Computer Science out of UW Madison and an MBA from UW Whitewater. Curate’s software scans through public meeting agendas and minutes from cities, counties, and school board websites and sends our customers weekly reports of leads and business intelligence. Curate's customers utilize this information to grow their businesses.

What you’ll do:
As a data coordinator at Curate, you’ll be part of the data team working directly with the software developers and business development team to ensure our customers receive high quality and accurate data. We all work as a team to improve our results, but you’re comfortable independently reviewing lots of text snippets to decide if something fits our qualifications or not. You’ll document data problems, share feedback for improvement, and focus on continuous improvement.
You must be comfortable quickly learning and adapting to new software. You also have a keen attention to detail, and understand the balance between speed and accuracy. You probably enjoy speed reading. In addition, you have excellent written communication skills as we frequently work remotely and communicate through writing. You don’t need any computer software experience as we’ll train you to be an expert in this field. Technical skills are important, but we value a cultural fit above all else. We’re looking for a team member with a strong work ethic who thrives in a fast paced and fun environment. We are looking for someone located in Madison, Wisconsin.
